Published 3 hours ago Manchester United are currently considering a move for Ipswich Town’s 40m-rated England Under-21s striker Liam Delap, aged 22. Born through Manchester City’s academy system, Delap has already netted 10 Premier League goals this season and is also attracting interest from Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are in discussions with Newcastle United regarding the potential transfer of Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez (25), along with cash considerations. In return for Newcastle’s 100m-plus-rated Sweden striker Alexander Isak (25), who has 17 Premier League goals to his name this season.
However, Newcastle have made it clear that they will not allow their top talents like Isak to leave the club if they fail to secure a spot in next year’s Champions League qualifying round. The team’s insistence on holding onto key players underlines their strategic priorities and potential reluctance to lose valuable assets.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also showing interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike (22), an alternative option if they decide against pursuing Isak. This move would bring a young talent who could step up as the team’s primary target forward in 2025-26.
Liverpool, one of Europes most active clubs this summer transfer window, is reportedly considering Barcelonian and Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong (27) for acquisition. The Reds’ interest highlights their desire to bolster their squad with experienced players capable of making an immediate impact on the pitch.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, who has recently inspired his team to dream about European football ambitions, is top of Tottenham’s list if they choose to replace current head coach Ange Postecoglou. Under pressure due to a series of poor results since taking charge in June 2023, the Blues could be looking for new leadership and tactical expertise.
Manchester City are reportedly interested in making Maximo Perrones loan move permanent from Italian side Como. The Argentine midfielder is managed by former Arsenal and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas, potentially bringing a blend of experience and fresh talent to the Citizens’ ranks.
Brighton might be forced to sell Japan’s Kaoru Mitoma (27) for around 66m this summer as he approaches his final two years in contract. The Seagulls are under pressure from fans and financial considerations, with Chelsea among several interested parties.
AC Milans Tijjani Reijnders (26), a Dutch midfielder, has secured an extension to his deal at the Italian club until 2030. This news suggests that the player sees a long-term future in Serie A and is committed to contributing to AC Milan’s ongoing success.
