Sir Tom Jones Takes the Stage: Concert at Racecourse!

Sir Tom Jones is set to make a return appearance at the Market Rasen Racecourse in August. The 84-year-old Welsh music icon will grace the stage on August 16th, performing alongside several other concerts scheduled throughout the summer.

Jones had previously visited the venue back in 2015 and expressed his excitement about coming back once more, stating that he is “really pleased to be returning.”

His career soared during the 1960s with a series of hits like “What’s New Pussycat,” “It’s Not Unusual,” and “Delilah.” He also famously sang the theme song for James Bond film Thunderball. In recent years, Jones has seen his star shine brightly once again, earning him a Brit Award in 2000 and serving as a judge on the popular TV talent show The Voice.

Jack Pryor, general manager at Market Rasen Racecourse, shared that Tom Jones’ return visit is long overdue and expressed great joy about welcoming him back. He recalled how Jones headlined an event ten years ago, which attracted record crowds to the venue. “We can’t wait for so many of you to join us this summer,” Pryor added.
