Feyi-Waboso has eight caps for England.
Englands Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will miss the Six Nations after undergoing shoulder surgery. The wing initially decided against having surgery on a dislocated shoulder sustained before Christmas, following discussions between England and Exeter Chiefs.
Earlier this month, England head coach Steve Borthwick had hinted at the possibility of Feyi-Waboso returning to action before the end of the Six Nations tournament. On Wednesday, however, the Exeter wing shared a photo on Instagram showing himself in hospital following his surgery, with the caption “minor setbacks, we go again.”
It is understood that despite attempting rehabilitation without surgery, 22-year-old Feyi-Wabosos shoulder did not improve as hoped. Consequently, he decided to opt for surgical intervention.
Feyi-Waboso was shortlisted for World Rugby’s Breakthrough Player of the Year award in 2024 after scoring five tries in his first eight appearances for England.
